June School Holiday Activities Singapore 2026: Fun Things to Do with Kids

School is out! Here are the June holiday activities, festivals and family-friendly shows worth making time for in Singapore.
The June holidays have arrived.
This means the children are thrilled, the school bags have quietly disappeared into a corner, and parents are once again searching for June school holiday activities in Singapore that do not involve spending four weeks wandering around the same shopping mall.
The good news? There is plenty happening this June.
From Winnie the Pooh at Gardens by the Bay to circus performers at Esplanade, museum adventures, light installations and cultural activities, families can plan a lovely mix of indoor and outdoor days without trying to do everything at once.
Here are our Jellybean Party picks for the June school holidays in Singapore.
1. Children's Festival Featuring Disney's Winnie the Pooh at Gardens by the Bay
If your child loves Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore, start with the Children’s Festival at Gardens by the Bay.
The Supertree Grove is transformed into the Hundred Acre Wood with free family-friendly installations and activities inspired by the stories. Children can explore different zones, spot familiar characters and enjoy a day out with Pooh and his friends.
The installations run from 10am to 7pm, with the last queue at 6.30pm. Gardens by the Bay is open until 9pm, so families can stay on for dinner or catch the Supertree light show afterward.
Best for: Preschoolers, primary school children and families who want a relaxed outdoor activity.
Date: 30 May to 21 June 2026
Venue: Supertree Grove, Gardens by the Bay
Admission: Free

2. Make It a Full Disney Day at Gardens by the Bay
If your family is already visiting Winnie the Pooh at Supertree Grove, you can make a fuller day of it with the other Gardens by the Bay attractions.
From 8 June, Disney Garden of Wonder at Floral Fantasy features floral displays inspired by Disney and Pixar characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Mike and Sulley from Monsters, Inc., and more.
Flower Dome is also running Blue Beauties: Orchids, Delphiniums and Hydrangeas until 21 June 2026. This is a separate floral display, so do check which attraction you want to visit before buying tickets. It is easy to promise the children Pooh and accidentally end up admiring hydrangeas for forty minutes.
Best for: Families planning a longer Gardens by the Bay visit or looking for an indoor break from the afternoon heat.
Date: Disney Garden of Wonder runs from 8 June 2026
Venue: Floral Fantasy, Gardens by the Bay
Admission: Ticketed

3. Catch Live Performances at Flipside 2026
Flipside returns to Esplanade with circus, comedy, physical theatre, aerial performances, roving acts and free shows around the venue.
As live performers ourselves, we always encourage families to catch a proper show when they can. Children see more than entertainment. They see timing, courage, practice, creativity and real people doing difficult things without a screen in between.
The remaining ticketed highlight is Der Lauf (The Way Things Go), an unusual and interactive juggling show involving fragile objects, balance, audience participation and a performer who cannot see. It is recommended for ages 8 and above.
For free performances, look out for LIVE MANGA by Japanese duo Gabez, Aerial Open Stage, BOX, Claudette and the quieter Voyage installation by Marine Boy.
Our advice? Choose one ticketed show or key performance first, then add one or two free acts around it. Do not try to watch everything. A festival should feel like a day out, not an exam.
Best for: Families who enjoy circus, comedy, theatre and live performance.
Date: Until 7 June 2026
Venue: Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay
Admission: Free and ticketed programmes available

4. Go Museum-Hopping During Children's Season 2026
Children’s Season returns with family programmes across Singapore’s museums, galleries and heritage spaces.
This year’s theme is Earth Heroes, encouraging children to learn more about the environment, sustainability and caring for the planet through playful activities.
Families can pick up a Children’s Season stamp booklet, visit participating museums and collect stamps along the way. It is a clever way to spread your activities across several weekends without feeling like you need to cover everything in one heroic afternoon.
The National Museum of Singapore is a good place to begin, with family programmes, performances and hands-on activities.
Best for: Curious children, museum-loving families and parents looking for indoor activities.
Date: 30 May to 28 June 2026
Venue: Participating museums across Singapore
Admission: Selected free and ticketed programmes

5. Explore Family Weekends at National Gallery Singapore
National Gallery Singapore is a lovely option for families who want an indoor day that still feels like an outing.
The Keppel Centre for Art Education has reopened with new spaces for children aged 4 to 12. Families can explore hands-on activities, storytelling sessions, drop-in art workshops and interactive installations inspired by Southeast Asian art and everyday life.
During the June holidays, the Gallery’s family programmes give children room to make, imagine and explore without needing to sit perfectly still for hours. A relief for everyone involved.
Best for: Creative children, rainy afternoons and families who enjoy hands-on art activities.
Venue: National Gallery Singapore
Admission: Selected family programmes are free

6. Take an Evening Walk Through i Light Singapore
If you need a family activity after dinner, i Light Singapore is back at Marina Bay and nearby precincts.
The sustainable light festival features installations by artists from Singapore and around the world. It is a nice way to give children an evening adventure without squeezing another full-day programme into the calendar.
Bring water, wear comfortable shoes and accept that the children may become more interested in snacks halfway through the route. This is normal and should not be taken personally.
Best for: Evening walks, older children, photography-loving parents and families looking for a free activity.
Date: 5 to 28 June 2026
Venue: Marina Bay and surrounding areas
Admission: Free, with selected ticketed activities

7. Discover Chinese Culture at Cultural Playground 2026
Cultural Playground returns to the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre with performances, activities and experiences designed for children and families.
It is a good option if you want the kids to enjoy something playful while also learning more about Singapore Chinese culture. Expect a lively mix of hands-on activities and family-friendly programmes rather than a quiet museum visit where parents spend the afternoon whispering, “Please don’t touch that.”
Best for: Families looking for cultural activities and a meaningful school holiday outing.
Date: 19 to 21 June 2026
Venue: Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre
Admission: Selected free and ticketed programmes

8. Plan a Fun Day at Home with Friends
Sometimes the easiest plan is the best one: invite a few friends over for a playdate, prepare simple snacks, and give the children something fun to do at home.
If you would like a little help, Jellybean Party can bring the activities to you. Families can book a game host, magician or hands-on workshop for a playdate or party. Slime-making and juggling workshops are lovely options when you want children to participate rather than simply watch.
It does not need to be a huge celebration.
A small group of friends, a comfortable space and one well-planned activity can be enough to turn an ordinary afternoon into a holiday highlight.
Make the Most of the June School Holidays
When planning June school holiday activities in Singapore, you do not need to pack every day.
Choose a few highlights that suit your child. Mix outdoor adventures with indoor breaks. Book ticketed shows early where needed. Leave some room for slower days, spontaneous playdates and the occasional afternoon where everyone stays home in pyjamas.
The school holidays are meant to be enjoyed.
Even by parents.
